The Canton of Distant Shore is part of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA Inc), within the Borders of the Barony of Ruantallan (Nova Scotia and PEI), and the East Kingdom (Northeastern parts of the USA and Canada).

Distant Shore encompasses the Nova Scotian Counties of Cumberland, Colchester, and Pictou.
